She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and based on that identified options that might work. She was quick to talk to builders and set up multiple walk throughs to ensure that I saw and understood all my options. Once we had narrowed down a few options, she created a sheet that compared all the options and pricing that was very helpful in making my final decision. Through the negotiations, it felt like she was on my team and took steps to ensure I got the best deal. Even after, I purchased my house, she was always willing to help me with things needed to move in and setup a new house. My wife and I moved from the South to the Cedar Rapids area in the fall of 2024 for a job relocation. With two kids already in college and one left in high school, we wanted to settle into a small community, similar to what we left in the South. A community with good schools, local shopping and restaurants in close proximity to our home. With a college-bound athlete, it was also important to find a fitness/athletic facility nearby for after school workouts, as well. Although we were looking to down-size, we still felt a need to find a home with a traditional living room, formal dining area, four bedrooms, three baths, a nice ensuite for the master bedroom, and a level of privacy. While it seemed to be "A Big Ask", it posed little problem to Laura. Laura was not only diligent in meeting our needs and wants but was able to find a home that offered a few bonuses we had not expected, including referrals to home maintenance/improvement people she knows. The level of trust that Laura built with us is immeasurable, especially when moving into an area that is new and untested. We are indeed happy with our home and have friendly neighbors.
