Skogman Realty is based in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Corridor and was founded in 1973 by Rick Skogman and since then has grown to become one of the largest locally owned real estate companies in eastern Iowa. Rick retired in 2008 passing the reins over to his son, Chris, who is currently the President and CEO of Skogman Companies.
Skogman Realty is a division of Skogman Homes, which is justifiably proud of its six generations of home building. Skogman Homes is considered to be one of the finest home building organizations in the Midwest. It has deep roots in the Cedar Rapids community and has developed dozens of entire neighborhoods such as Bowman Woods, Stoney Point, Northbrook, Cedar Hills, Fox Trail and Willowood, along with several sizable condominium projects. At latest count, over 12,000 families live in a Skogman built home.

In June 2009, we opened our first real estate office in Coralville. In just a few years the office has grown significantly, and we have become ingrained in the Iowa City-area community by serving on boards and volunteering with different organizations.
We pride ourselves on being an independent, locally owned and managed organization, and our mission is to remain the predominately recognized real estate company in the marketplace. With several office locations, we provide a full line of real estate services throughout Linn and Johnson County.
