About Liz: 

Liz Efting is a lifelong Cedar Rapids native with a degree in Education from the University of Northern Iowa. As a licensed Broker-Associate and Realtor, she now works to educate her clients with the most accurate market data and trends to help them buy/and/or/sell their home.  

Liz has been licensed since 2010 and has had a varied background in commercial and residential real estate, as well as dabbling in property management. She is an agent for both buyers and sellers and aids in assisting everyone from first time home buyers to experienced home buyers/sellers, as well as new construction builds. Her prior real estate brokerage management experience in organizing and leading teams helps her understand all perspectives in the client experience.  She explains the process of home buying and selling with ease and diplomacy as a trusted agent.  

Liz is active in support of numerous local causes and can be found with a microphone or megaphone in her hand, supporting charitable events or volunteering on committees in the town she loves.  She once danced in a fundraiser for her children's high school, in front of over 1,000 people and loved every second of it.

Always working as a connector and builder, Liz takes great pride in bringing people together to not only find their home, but also their community.

About Jim: 

Jim Efting is a licensed Realtor in the State of Iowa and has lived in Cedar Rapids for four decades.

Always learning, Jim has been a History teacher and coach for middle and high school basketball teams, and has been Regional Coordinator for the Linn County middle school mock trial program, while coaching the most recognized mock trial teams in the state.  His ability to solve problems with a balanced approach benefits his clients through all stages of their buying and/or selling journey. 

As a business owner of a commercial cleaning company since 2010, Jim has managed services that ensure spaces are professionally cared for and well-kept.

Jim values the relationships and reputation he has built throughout his career, and diligently works to advise his clients towards their goals.  

In his spare time, Jim enjoys traveling to visit his four grown children, and cheering for the Cubs at Wrigley Field, where he was recently granted the title, "Groundskeeper For a Day." A dream come true!
