Brian Hoel has been working in real estate across Eastern Iowa for more than 14 years and genuinely loves the business. Over that time he’s helped clients complete more than 186 transactions totaling over $42 million in sales, while also personally developing over $13.5 million in commercial real estate. That experience gives him a perspective most agents simply don’t have, he understands real estate from both the “finding your next home” side and the “building and investing” side.

Brian holds the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) and NAR Green designations and has a strong background in new construction, development, and residential investment strategy. He’s also played a role in recruiting and mentoring new agents at Skogman Realty, helping bring new talent into the industry.

His approach to real estate is pretty simple: be honest, work hard, know the market, and make the process as smooth (and even fun) as possible. Buying or selling a home is a big moment in life, and Brian takes that responsibility seriously.

Outside of real estate you’ll usually find him in the gym, riding his bike, playing sand volleyball, working in the ceramics studio, or messing with something that has an engine and probably goes faster than it should. He also loves traveling to adventurous places  (including climbing an active volcano)  and spending time with his bernedoodle, Sharon, who occasionally makes appearances in his marketing.
