1. This haunted barn can be fun for the whole family. Older children and adults can trek through the barn for $8 admission/person (or you can bring a non-perishable canned food that will be donated to a local food bank and admission is $7/person.) There is a lights on version available for families with young children. Let the ticket booth know and they can turn the lights on while you walk through.

2. Why just visit a spooky place when you can spend the whole night at one?! Located in Jones County, Edinburgh Manor is one of the most haunted locations in Iowa. For $200 a night for 1-5 people or $40/person for 6+ people, you can spend the night experiencing all sorts of paranormal phenomenons. If overnight is too much to handle, they also give daytime tours by appointment.

6. As one of the most famous local haunted spots in the Corridor, the Black Angel is a must see if you’re into spooky experiences. The statue has been in the cemetery since roughly 1912 and holds lots of interesting folklore about it’s beginnings and why it’s black.

8. Enjoy four different terrifying experiences at Scream Acres this October. Cell Block Z, The Cornfield, Carnival Chaos and The Slaughterhouse are not for the faint of heart. Cell Block Z is a zombie apocalypse theme, where you will try to make it out of the prison alive before the zombies get you. The Cornfield is a haunted cornfield filled with goblins, ghosts and other creatures. Carnival Chaos is a heart-pounding maze adventure that blurs the lines between reality and nightmares. The Slaughterhouse is a haunted slaughterhouse that is filled with the spirits of the dead. Don’t get lost or you may be stuck inside forever! Tickets are $20/person for 2 attractions, $30/person for all 4 attractions, or you can get a VIP package for $45/person, which allows you to skip the line and enter the attractions faster.
