If you’re looking for jars of blueberry, red raspberry spicy pear and peach jam, nearly every kind of produce grown in Iowa, including rhubarb, asparagus, green peppers and onions, as well as local butter, cheese meats and more from neighboring farms, Northern Ridge is your place. Northern Ridge also offers pick-your-own berries if you want to get out there and do it yourself.


The Big Apple Orchard

You won’t have to worry about whether there will be enough apples – this family-run orchard has around 2,000 apple trees and 22 varieties of apples! Bart’s Farm & Pumpkin Patch

Find reasonably priced pumpkins of all sizes, cornstalk bundles, straw, ear corn and gourds at this family-owned pumpkin patch in Marion. Your kids will have plenty to do - there are hayrack rides, small pedal tractors and a small corn maze. Pony rides are available on Saturdays and Sundays from noon-4 p.m. for $7.


Bloomsbury Farm
