About Us

Jill has lived in the Iowa City area since 1989. She raised two children as well as adopted Aliou Keita from Senegal Africa.

Since becoming a REALTOR in 1996, she has been one of the area's top producers. Jill has received her ABR designation (Accredited Buyers Representative). She feels very strongly that customer service is what sets her apart. In order to provide excellent customer service and to see to the many details, Jill has 2 full-time licensed associates, Jackie, and Josh.

Jill firmly believes in "helping homes find families and families find homes." Whether you are a first time buyer or have bought and sold before, Jill will give you the best possible service and make it an enjoyable experience. When I started looking for a home I was unsure how to go about it so I talked to my mom about it because she talked about how her and dad had a positive experience with the gentleman through Skogman they used. We contacted him and he recomended Abby. Abby was very helpful from the get go as I let her know the areas I was interested in and she came back with a list of places to check out that demonstrated what was available at different price levels with different layouts that were affordable. After seeing a few it was easy to choose the area I wanted to be in and what all was important to me from the various floor plans that were observed. Finding a house in a competitive market can be a trying experience but Abby helped me to work through that and find a place that I am very happy with. Dear Jill, I want to thank you so much for helping our family sell our house on Foxana in such a short amount of time! You not only lived up to our expectations, but exceeded them as well. After our unsuccessful previous realtor engagement that lasted five months, we were interviewing new agents and remembered talking to you. One of the most memorable quotes during our encounter was when we asked you why you were the appropriate realtor and you succinctly replied “Well…because I’m worth it” and sure enough, you were worth it! "Jill and her team were phenomenal. Where do I start...

1. She spent around 2 hours getting to know us. Had a book of comps ready at the first meeting. We could tell she knew her stuff. She was professional and knowledgeable.

2. We moved out of state. The day we moved out, her team was ready to stage our home. They did a great job and were very friendly and professional. They made the house look modern and inviting.

3. Our house sat on the market for a while, through the late summer. Possible reason for that may be because we first listed with a different realtor based on recommendation. We listed with this other realtor at the beginning of the summer and only had two showings! We knew it wasn’t working so we called Jill back. She was ready to work—and we had showings almost immediately.

4. When there was a slow down in showings (end of summer, fall), Jill would check on the house for us and re-evaluate what we could do to attract buyers. We ended up adding landscape-it really made a difference in our curb appeal.

5. She gave us recommendations on cleaning companies, landscapers, painters, etc. She made selling a house from across the country easy.

6. And finally, when we had to close. Jill sent us all documents electronically and we were able to close without any hiccups. It was seamless.

I know I’m missing some things but those were the items that really set her apart from others.
